Goodbye Sweet World

“Sweet, so would I,
Yet I should kill thee with much cherishing.
Good night, good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow,
That I shall say good night till it be morrow.”

- William Shakespeare, From “Romeo and Juliet”

The time has come to say farewell. I always planned on writing a long and very well thought out last post for this blog. But, it turns out that I’m not so inclined at the moment. Perhaps I will come back at a later date to do so.

But for now, I just wanna say that it’s been one helluva ride! Thanks to everyone for your loyalty, for your love, for your hate mail, for your inspiration.

This is goodbye.

Please update your bookmarks, feed, mother, and what not to: http://www.doctorpsychobabble.com

That’s where I’ll be hanging out in the blogosphere for the time being. Come join me on my next adventure.

Peace out!

    Hi,
I have been accpeted to ROSS september 2010, class. I have also been waitlisted for september 2010 but accpeted in SGU however for january 2011 class.
I read horror stories on student doc and valuemed netwrok about ROSS’s clinical rotation failures. I am very nervous. Please give me a real feedback about being in ROSS and about clinical rotation experiences.
    Thanks
    Kunal

    I gave me away
I could have knocked off the evening
But I lonelily landed my wants in her hands
In a way I felt you were leaving me
I was sure I wouldn’t find you at home
    And you let me down
You could have knocked off the evening
But you lonelily let him push under your bone
    You let me down
    It’s no use deceiving
Neither of us wanna be alone

You’re coming home, you’re coming home

    I gave me away
I could have knocked off the evening
But I was lonelily looking for someone to hold
In a way I lost all I believed in
And I never found myself so alone
    And you let me down
You could’ve called if you’d needed
But you lonelily got yourself locked in instead
    And you let me down
    It’s one thing being cheated
But you took him all the way through your bed

    And now you’re coming home
    And I’m trying to forgive
    You’re coming home
    And I’m trying to forget
    You’re coming home
And I’m trying to move on
    You’re coming home
    And you haven’t called yet

    You’re coming home
    And I’m trying to forgive
    You’re coming home
    I’m just trying to forget
    You’re coming home
    I’m trying to move on
    You’re coming home
    But you haven’t called
    You’re coming home

You’re coming home, you’re coming home

    I gave me away
I could have knocked off the evening
But I lonelily loomed her into my bone
    You let me down
    There’s no use deceiving
Neither of us wanna be alone

“Please give me a real feedback about being in ROSS and about clinical rotation experiences.”

i.e. Please tell me going to medical school in the Caribbeans is just as good as going to a medical school in the US.

    To anonymous,

While I can’t tell you that going to medical school in the Caribbean is just as good or the same as going to medical school in the US, I suggest that you check out some of the posts that I wrote here: http://www.islandmedstudent.com/home/resources/ for some of my thoughts on this subject…

    Hi,

I’m Mike, a pre-med student at UF, and have been reading your blog for a while now.

I actually just started a website called http://www.mcatquestionoftheday.com, to help pre-med students study for the MCAT.

I started it a few days ago, and my goal is to use the site as a learning tool for both myself and other pre-med students around the nation.

Do you think we could form some kind of partnership? Maybe exchange links for the time being? I’d really appreciate it!

    Thanks so much,

    Mike.
