Dr. Psychobabble

So, I am happy to announce that my new website will be called doctorpsychobabble.com. Don’t try to visit it yet, because it’s still in progress. Anyway, it’s going to rock, and I’ve been working on it all day. I hope to publish it in the next few days. The photo above will be the new banner. I’m still working out all the details. Anyway, I was going to keep this a secret until it was all finalized and published, but it turns out that I suck at keeping secrets. :)

    Kendra,

    I have been following you for about 2 years now. I stumbled upon your blog while reasearching Dominica to potentially move. Your perspective and views on everything in life is what kept me intriqued to keep coming back. My husband and I are both in the medical field and this was just one more aspect that I felt we had in common. When you had clinicals in Baltimore I was so excited because that is where I am from, although I currently reside on the Gulf side of Florida. Seeing your new banner displayed with your new web site makes me a bit sad to see this blog be completed, and it makes me very excited to continue to follow you in the future. Every time I consider going back to school to further my medical degree (which happens often) I think of you and how *easy* you made it seem! (trust me, I know full well that it was not an easy task to complete) but what I am trying to say is that you have been in inspiration to so many people…people like myself who come to yor blog on an almost daily basis to hear about your raves and occasional rants on the process of medical school. I wish I could make a HUGE donation to you, although we still have a little over 80K in student loans to pay off too…and we keep a super stict budget…but I wish you luck and thank you for the inspiration.

    Congratulations on the Doc thingy….. Go for it. Glad to note that despite the ups and downs that you mostly enjoyed your time of study in Dominica. Was today plunged forward to your blog because you were mentioned in another blog by someone else who also once lived on my island.
    I have read way back from Jan 2008 and have found it all rather interesting. I will continue to follow…great!!!!
