UPS Can Bite ME

Okay, so you know how you’re not supposed to ever drive when you are VERY UPSET?! Well, the same goes for blogging.

But I break the rules all the time.

Please stop reading now if you don’t want to hear my rant.

I HATE UPS! They have lied to me on many occasions. They say that they attempted to deliver a package, and that I wasn’t home, even when I WAS!

I have been trying to receive a package for the last three days. I did not shower. I withheld bowel movements. I did not walk my dogs. I did EVERYTHING HUMANLY POSSIBLE to be at my apartment, and close to my doorbell, so that I could receive the package. And yet they would come much later on in the evening than they had promised, and then leave the “WE MISSED YOU” slip. Bull$#&%! I was here. And then when I called customer service they told me that they would call me back the next day, and have it put on the truck again for delivery.

They lied.

My package is being shipped back to the sender.

UPS, you can bite me.

And I will never use your crappy service. Ever. Again.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled program…

Same experience here….loads of times. Sick of spending ages on the phone to customer support trying to get them to re-deliver (or deliver the first time as it were). Can’t help but think there are a lot of UPS drivers sitting under a tree by the river somewhere getting drunk or something, then arriving back at the depot at the end of the day and saying, “nah, couldn’t deliver it – they weren’t home again. No choice but to return the package to sender i guess….”

Oh lord, I should have warned you. So our UPS guy, and now yours — does that, LIE. It’s awful. Do you know how many times I ran down Ocean chasing after the UPS truck? Many. Colin even did it too when I was expecting a pair of shoes. Bless him. And if you find yourself running after the truck, make sure you have your ID, b/c one time I didn’t, I had to run all the way back to get it. Luckily the truck was still parked down the street when I ran back to it. So they usually come at 5:00 pm. But however, some random times they come at 10:30, but this is random and usually a Friday. Sometimes they come later at night, like even 8 which is awesome. BUT if you don’t want it to returned to sender, you have it sent to the UPS distribution center which is a bit of ways – but it’s the last stop on the L (away from the city)…

    I understand your frustration.

It also goes for USPS (the regular mail).. if it’s a package — they won’t even ATTEMPT to deliver — they will just send it to the post office on Empire — but there is a bus so it isn’t that bad to get to.. just annoying. I wish you luck!
