Thirty Something
In 5 hours, I will turn 31. I guess it’s just “another birthday,” but I have always been someone to take birthdays somewhat seriously. I will officially be “thirty something.” I am going to go out in Soho with my close friends for some raw oysters, Italian food, and wine. I think 31 is going to be a great year. I will be a doctor in a few short months, and will hopefully start my residency a few months after that. I can’t believe I’m this old, and I can’t believe I’m living my dreams. I really have nothing to complain about!
I went for an 8-mile run this morning in my shorts at 7 a.m., in 15 degree Fahrenheit degree weather, through the snowfall, into Manhattan and back with my two doggies. It was exhilarating and wonderful. Not too shabby for a 31-year old lady!

I remember last year on the same day I said happy birthday to you. Wow time flies so fast and You still look like you’re 25. Seriously!!
