Island Med Student

I totally lucked out today and got out of OB clinic by 3:00. I ran some errands, walked the dogs, cleaned up my apartment, and it’s now approaching 5:00. It’s so amazing to actually see the sun and not be trapped in the hospital or clinic for every waking hour. I have a bunch of stuff I need to do like reply to emails and call programs, etc., but my motivation is at an all time low. What I really want to do right now is to totally pig out, watch a stupid mind-numbing movie, and go to sleep. But my time off is so precious that I know I can’t waste it on such wonderful luxuries. So, I will now do my best to take a deep breath, and push on through until at least 10:00 tonight, at which time I will promptly pass into slumberland!
