Brooklyn Summer Ale
Soooooo, I am finally starting to relax and have a good time in the city of Brooklyn before my surgery rotation starts and I have no time to relax. I realized that I actually have everything I need within walking distance of my pad. Today I discovered Kiwi Market (I think that’s the name). Freakin awesome! Yummy fresh fruits and veggies, hummus, vegan food, goat cheese, orchids, and even three kinds of balsamic vinegar! I’m in heaven… Anyway, I’m starting to warm up to this city and my apartment is even looking pretty cute (pics soon), so I think I might just be okay.
I won’t be able to post lots for the next few days because I’m waiting for my Internets to be hooked up. Actually, right now I am at a gritty “Hey Micah” (long story, it means hipsters in tight jeans, etc.) bar/cafe. It’s the closest place with free Wifi. The wine list rocks. There is “white,” “good red” and “better red.” I chose better red. Brooklyn is definitely growing on me.
Note: The pic was taken by Micah on his iPhone just after we got back from Kiwi’s. I had just finished loading up my very small fridge and Micah had cracked open his test-drive of Brooklyn’s Summer Ale.

Mom!
Brooklyn is NOT a city. It’s a part of a city. A borough. It’s part of New York City, where they make salsa! It’s where I live. But I live in Queens with Archie Bunker, not in Brooklyn with hipsters.
Sometimes you make me want to do smack!
The dogs are prolly fighting on the bed! Molly eventually will be going home and Scope will be staying with me in Brooklyn.
Which I know is NOT a city but damnit janet, it seems like one! I mean it’s huge and my address says Brooklyn and it’s different than the other boroughs and other stuff too, fo shizzy!
