I just found out that a student in my class just died of a drug overdose on July 3rd. I can’t even comprehend it right now. It’s so incredibly shocking.
Zach, I will miss your smile, and ability to make me laugh, no matter what. You will be dearly missed.

My name is Kendra and I am a newly minted doctor about to begin my residency in Psychiatry at The State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
