A Whole Lot of Nuttin
That’s what’s been going on in da life of Kendra. I’m STILL recovering from a cold, but feeling better. I went out on Wednesday to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, and had a blast. I received my “real” medical diploma in the mail on Thursday. Hopefully, I will be able to get it framed soon, before I spill coffee all over it.
Other than that, not a whole heck of a lot to say.
My apologies, readers, but being a bum just doesn’t stimulate me to write. But I promise to write some “real good” stuff soon. Promise. In the meantime, please enjoy these crappy iPhone pics.
1) A mural in Astoria, New York.
2) and 3) Cinco de Mayo fun.
4) My 100% legit medical diploma. Booyakasha!

My name is Kendra and I am a fourth-year medical student attending
It’s my understanding that many states don’t consider a diploma to be valid without at least one coffee stain. And North Carolina also requires barbecue sauce. I’m just sayin.
congrats on your official diploma- quick question do you know how the “honors” system works. what qualifies as honors, highest honors etc.
congrats congrats! enjoy your time off.
Digging the hair! And wow grats on your diploma. I still have a longggg way to go in terms of school. Going to start college in June.
To the above commenter: I had to look it up. Here ya go!
3.5 – 3.59 – Honors
3.6 – 3.79 – High Honors
3.8 – 4.0 – Highest Honors
Highest Honors + finishing all mini-exams and Steps in record time! Way to go Kendra! See you at graduation! -Laura Tommaso
is that the range your school decides? it’s different, depending where you are, usually.
i have never seen a scale like the one above. also, isn’t it usually suma/magna/ cum laude?
Yep, that’s just based on Ross. I’m used to > 3.9 being summa cum laude!
3.9? that’s ridiculous! do you go higher than a 4.0 or something?
that would mean 100% A’s and summa is not given just for people who are completely flawless.
my ex was a straight A student, he got ONE B his senior year and it dropped him below a 4.0, so i don’t know about how wherever you were made 3.9 summa
(at my school suma was >3.7)
