Back To Reality
I am now safely and soundly back in Brooklyn. I had the most fun I’ve had in a long time while down on the farm. My sister Corina’s (affectionately known as Corky) wedding was absolutely beautiful and wonderful. I had a blast and I have gigabytes of photos and video footage to sort through over the next few weeks. I will hopefully be able to post at least a sneak preview sometime later today.
The drive home yesterday was quite painful. It was yet another 8 hour drive in a 2-seater car with 2 people and 2 dogs, with no air conditioner in 90+ degree weather! Ouch!
Anyway, I am home and am now frantically trying to catch up with things that have fallen by the wayside over the past week. Hopefully I will get a lot accomplished today. Luckily, I have until next Monday to get everything together (and then I start an elective emergency medicine rotation). If I owe you a phone call, email, text, or otherwise, please forgive me. I promise to catch up on all of that within the next 3 days!
Ok, it’s back to errand running right now. It’s supposed to get up to 95 degrees today in Brooklyn!
For the time being, enjoy these few iPhone pics taken during our pre-wedding trip to the nail salon.
