Still Loving Surgery
I’m still in love with my surgery rotation, annoyances and all. On Friday I watched a bilateral varicocelectomy. Very cool. Also, I’ve learned a lot of stuff, but can’t recall it all. The coolest thing I’ve learned recently is that a pneumonectomy on a trauma patient is a bad idea and the mortality rate is close to 100%. Apparently, Tupac died because of this.
