Still Loving Surgery

I’m still in love with my surgery rotation, annoyances and all. On Friday I watched a bilateral varicocelectomy. Very cool. Also, I’ve learned a lot of stuff, but can’t recall it all. The coolest thing I’ve learned recently is that a pneumonectomy on a trauma patient is a bad idea and the mortality rate is close to 100%. Apparently, Tupac died because of this. Since I don’t feel like writing, please enjoy some more of my surgery pics…

Fortunately, Diddy is alive and well enough to complain that gas prices are so high he can’t fuel his private jet. Maybe you mean Bernie Mac.

lol no for sure it was Tupac, yo. Can’t refute Dr. C! Bernie Mac died of complications from pneumonia, and he had sarcoidosis.
