Kendra Fights Radiation
Today’s colorful pic is me with my radiation-fighting protective gear on, ready to head into an operation. The procedure involved the use of fluoroscopy, so you have to wear a lead apron and protective neck piece to avoid radiating your important body parts. Unfortunately, all the neck aprons were being used so I ended up not being able to go into the procedure.
Today I observed a mole excision and a repair of an umbilical hernia. The second pic is Midori trying to catch some zzzs in the OR lounge. She totally stole my idea of using the face mask as protective eye wear for sleeping.
My dogs destroyed my apartment today while I was gone, so that’s all I have to say for now. Heading back to cleaning….
