Scared Scope

Today’s pic is a subway shot in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Speaking of the subway, my poor little doggy Scope is terrified of the trains! Whenever a train passes by, he runs the other way and cringes down in fear. (But I give him hugs, and he eventually gets over his fear.)

Sometimes, as I’m walking my doggies down the streets of the city, I stop and think about where they’ve been. I adopted both of my dogs as little bitty pups in the middle of the West Indies, Dominica. If it weren’t for me, they’d either be dead, or wandering the streets of Dominica (unless a nice person had adopted them). Some people say I’m crazy to have brought them to the States from Dominica. My response: if I had the chance, I’d do it all over again! I can’t imagine life without my pups. And thinking of their journey from Dominica to NYC just makes me smile all over.
