Last Post Before the Storm
This might be my last past for a while. The hurricane is near. Even the locals are freaking out. Took my final exam today. It’s all over now. My landlord is boarding up the windows. They’ve closed all the restaurants and shops. It’s about to hit the fan. See you all on the flipside.
My name is Kendra and I am a fourth-year medical student attending
How far apart are the contractions?
I ‘ve just heard about the hurricane on the evening news and instantly thought of you. Why am I not surprised to read that you are staying on the Island?
Keep safe and please do let us know when you are “on the flipside” of it.
Please check in!!! Don’t keep us in a worried state!
Kendra,
Hope that you and all your fellow students are safe. If you do get some video footage and are able to put it up, we would love to see it.
Thanks and be safe….
Stay Safe…..
Hi Kendra,
I am a first-time commentor… Your blog is really good!
I hope you and your friends/neighbours are safe! I think you are pretty brave in that you decided to stay there when you had an option to leave…
Waiting for your next post.
Just saw a news brief on the weather channel. A hurricane chaser was reporting from Dominica! He said he was the only person “arriving” at the airport, and that there were groups of people trying to leave, many in tears begging to be allowed on the planes, which were loaded to the hilt. He also said he thought he was the only non native on the island and so far had not seen but a few brave souls. I wanted to reach through the tube and tell him to look for you!! Just read the Ross update…wondering if you are in the shelter there or staying home with the pups!
Love ya!
good luck
Kendra,

I hope you and your boyfriend are okay. I forgot his name, he the photographer, right? I’m Jackie the lady who used to sell the bread on campus with the two girls. We are moving to NYC on Monday. I’m glad that you have done well for yourself in your studies. Keep up the good work!
