I Got Knocked Down
This morning was probably the worst morning I’ve ever had while living in Dominica. I wasted a precious half a day on a bunch of running around, and I only started really studying a few hours ago. Today is Friday. I have my first mini examination of the semester on Monday. I’m starting to freak out. I still have so much to study, it’s unfathomable. I think I’m retracting my earlier statement about not being challenged. I’m freakin challenged right now. I was freakin challenged this morning. I wrote all about the events of this morning for a post on Medscape, so I’ll save you the details here. It should be posted today or tomorrow. The long and short of it? I am a complete idiot and I allowed my backpack to get stolen from me. I lost ALL of my papers and notes from the beginning of the semester. I have an exam in three days. The good news: my backpack was recovered. The bad news: stuff was stolen, and I’m still an idiot. The pic in this post is the love of my life, Scope. Unfortunately, I can’t post the pic that I wanted to because it was stolen, along with all the other pics on my camera. Oh yeah, in the VERY unlikely event that the person who stole my stuff reads this post someday, I want to tell you that you suck for stealing, but thanks for not throwing my notes in the Indian River. You saved my life in that regard. Oh yes, and the cell phone you stole from me is a piece of shit. Have fun with it.
My name is Kendra and I am a fourth-year medical student attending
You know Kendra, what goes around comes around. The person that did that to u is going sooooooooooo be bitten in the ass pretty soon now…
oh my goodness! stolen?! crap, i have been leaving my shit everywhere on campus!
Aw, I really hate to hear this. It has happened to us a couple of times and it always makes me feel violated. I don’t want to turn into a bitter and suspicious ol’ hag, but theft really does a number on my head.
Kendra,
Just read the Medscape Entry and pretty ITA with it.
Thank you.
