Island Med Student

Since I’ve been in Dominica, I’ve had quite a few interesting doggy experiences. For some reason, all of the dogs in Dominica seem to want to follow me around religiously. I’ve acquired quite an extensive collection. There are two specific dogs that actually have owners, but seem to prefer hanging out with me. I’ve officially adopted one dog, Jackie, but the rest are just strays who enjoy following me around on my adventures. Over the winter break, I’ve been dogsitting for two professors’ doggies, so I’m now up to a pack of 6 to 8 dogs that follow me everywhere I go. Today, we went to the beach and relaxed for a while. I’ve decided to start a photo collection of all the doggies, but I only have 3 pics up so far. I call my doggies “The Usual Suspects,” and I think if you ever met them, you’d figure out why.
