Shake Your Groove Thang, Uh Huh
Today was the first day of my second semester of medical school. I thoroughly enjoyed my winter break, and it was somewhat strange to be watching lectures again. There are so many new faces on campus because of all the new first semester students. After a crazy time at the Post Office in Portsmouth (more on that later), I came home to start studying. Man, it was hard. By the end of last semester, I was totally in my studying groove, and I seem to have lost it over the break. I’m going to really have to squeeze all of my brain cells to start shaking my study groove thang again. We had our intro to neuroscience lectures today, which were pretty much review, and we had anatomy lectures on the anterior abdominal wall and hernias.
The pic above is a sand castle that I built with the help of my friends Renfa and Rennic during our day at the beach yesterday. The pics below are of Renfa and Rennic on the beach, and a house across from the Annex building with a manicured lawn and pet goats. I think my utopian life would definitely consist of building sand castles on the beach all day long and then going home to feed my adorable pet goats.
