I’m almost there, I’m almost there. The end is near. I can taste the sweetness of victory. Wait, it’s salty. Oh yeah, that’s sea salt, my bad. I had my first lesson in surfing today. I got served by a bunch of 10 year old boys. The pic above is my “study scene.” It’s where I spend my hours. When I’m finished with this exam, I’m going to hide all of my papers. At least for a bit.
My name is Kendra and I am a fourth-year medical student attending Ross University School of Medicine. I went through my basic science training on the Nature Island of Dominica, hence the name of this blog. However, I am currently living in Brooklyn, New York, where I'm completing my clinical rotations. I am a life enthusiast.
