If the Left Side is Wrong, I Don’t Want to be Right

Dav and Kendra pre-DominicaI made it. I really made it. Yesterday I took my final exam for my first semester of medical school. I think I did pretty well. I wanted to write a blog entry yesterday, but my internet connection wouldn’t cooperate. Last night, I went to a nice restaurant with my good friends, and drank wine, ate fish, and danced my tooshy off. I had a really interesting morning today, which involved driving my nextdoor neighbor to the airport at 7:00 in the morning because he missed his flight. We now have a car for the next few weeks, and Micah is becoming quite adept at driving on the wrong side of the road. I’m pretty sleepy now, otherwise I would go on a long rant about the USPS in Africa. I guess I’ll save that for another day. Tomorrow morning, we’re getting up and picking up our cutey patooty friends, Katie and Circus Boy (Scotty) from the airport. They’re flying all the way from Panama to stay with us for the next few weeks. I have a feeling that my spatula will somehow find its way to the beach. The pic above has nothing to do with this post, except that it was taken shortly before I left the States to come to Dominica – when I was young and innocent. Now, I’m going to be a second semester medical student. Apparently, I’m still young and innocent. mmm hmmmm.
