Life Beyond Studying and the Ren Brothers
Well, I took my very first anatomy lab practical today. I can’t remember when the last time was that I was this happy. I know that I definitely got some of the questions wrong, but I also know that I did get quite a few right. I feel like a huge weight has been magically lifted off of my shoulders. All that studying paid off. I was so scared that I wouldn’t know what anything was!
I am actually beginning to believe that this medical school stuff is possible. What everyone has told me is true – to succeed in medical school, you just have to work your butt off and do the very best job that you can, and you will make it.

On the way home from the practical, I stopped to hang out with the Ren brothers, who live on the trail by my house, which I like to do every day. Today I ended up playing with them for a while, and I busted out my camera, which I haven’t done in forever. I can’t tell you how much I’m enjoying my few hours with no studying. The little things seem even brighter
